Kargo is building connections between the physical freight world and the digital ecosystem used to manage it, focusing on smart infrastructure for a safer and more efficient logistics future. Its loading dock sensor platform verifies all incoming and outgoing freight and aggregates data so shippers and carriers can manage dock operations, switch suppliers, and track material flow in real time. The company is looking for a Mid-Market Account Executive who will develop and deploy hardware and software solutions. Responsibilities include creating revenue-generating strategic partnerships to expand Kargo across existing and new product lines; identifying and incubating areas of potential development and growth with strong product/market fit; developing prospect and account relationships at an executive level while understanding customer applications, processes, and business model; creating presentations and conducting or participating in meetings with prospective and existing clients; and closing large strategic deals with significant impact on the company. Travel greater than 50% of time is required. Requirements include 2+ years of experience in business development at a mid-market company or related role; a track record of conceiving and closing mid-market partnerships; strong analytical skills with a metrics-driven approach to building strategy and optimizing customers; manufacturing or industrial logistics domain expertise preferred; a strong commitment to customer-focused solutions; the ability to manage multiple tasks and achieve quality results on time under tight deadlines; self-motivation with demonstrated ability to work independently and in teams on complex problems; and a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a technical discipline preferred.
