The Senior Implementations Manager will lead the onboarding of large mainland Chinese enterprise clients onto Xendit’s payments platform. The role covers the full implementation process, from post-sale handover to go-live, as well as onboarding for enterprise and mid-market clients. The manager will learn clients’ business models, payment flows, and operational requirements, then turn them into implementation plans and technical integrations. Projects may involve APIs, payment method configuration, and alignment with clients’ internal systems and workflows. Responsibilities include setting timelines, milestones, dependencies, and success criteria; serving as the main client contact during onboarding; and coordinating with Sales, Product, Engineering, Risk, and Compliance. The manager will work with clients and engineers on integrations, identify and resolve risks or blockers, handle escalations, and provide status updates, stakeholder reports, and executive summaries when needed. They will also run workshops, solution discussions, and training; support Greater China clients across language, cultural, and operational differences; improve onboarding processes, tools, and playbooks; and document the handover to post-go-live teams such as Customer Success or Account Management. Minimum qualifications are 5–8 years of experience in onboarding, implementation, professional services, or project management in B2B SaaS, fintech, or payments; a record of leading enterprise implementations from post-sale handover to go-live; and the ability to manage timelines, dependencies, risks, and stakeholders across concurrent projects. Candidates need hands-on experience with APIs, system integrations, or technical product implementations, including working with engineers and explaining technical concepts to clients. They must be able to manage complex enterprise requirements, escalations, and senior stakeholders; collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Compliance; communicate in English and Mandarin at business proficiency; and work independently with strong ownership and accountability in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Preferred qualifications include experience in payments, fintech, or financial infrastructure, particularly APIs, payment flows, or regulated environments; experience with enterprise clients in Mainland China, Taiwan, or Hong Kong; and a background in consulting, system integration, or professional services with structured project delivery. Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall and tools such as Jira, Asana, or Notion is preferred. Other relevant experience includes multi-market or cross-border implementations, high-growth technology companies, data migration, system mapping, and workflow design. The role also calls for problem-solving skills to identify process gaps and improve implementation playbooks.
