Responsibilities for this role include developing high-performance C++ software for machine vision and AI systems running on edge devices, building and improving computer vision features using 3D perception and AI technologies, assisting in the development of agentic AI systems to deploy, monitor, and manage an expanding fleet of edge devices, collaborating with senior engineers to enhance the reliability, performance, and scalability of the edge platform, and troubleshooting, testing, and optimizing software in real-world environments. Candidates should have 1 to 2 years of professional, internship, or research experience in software engineering, strong programming skills in C++ and Python, familiarity with Linux development environments, and experience through coursework, projects, internships, or research in one or more of the following: computer vision, machine learning or AI, robotics, or edge computing. Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies are expected, along with a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
