Ajaib is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer/SRE to join their cloud infrastructure team. The role centers on maintaining reliability, scalability, and security of a digital banking platform, applying technical expertise to build, maintain, and improve cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. Key responsibilities include: Infrastructure Management: Designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure including servers, networks, and storage for the digital banking platform. Ensuring availability, reliability, and scalability of IT systems. Managing and optimizing data storage to maintain data integrity and compliance. Automation & CI/CD: Designing and implementing scalable developer tooling that supports engineering team growth. Implementing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines to improve software development and deployment efficiency. Automating infrastructure as code processes. Reliability & Performance: Monitoring system performance and identifying improvement opportunities. Developing a deep understanding of the business while managing high availability of financial services and continuously improving the business SLA. Identifying system weaknesses through comprehensive data operations such as availability metrics, historical incidents, and resource utilization, and carrying out improvement projects. Requirements: - Demonstrated experience as a DevOps Engineer or SRE in a cloud environment - Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) - Strong experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Puppet) - Proficiency in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) - Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) - Strong understanding of networking and security principles - Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
