We are looking for a skilled and proactive IT Security Engineer to join our team. The role involves implementing, maintaining, and monitoring security systems and procedures to safeguard company assets and data. Key duties include identifying vulnerabilities, handling security incidents, and maintaining compliance with security policies. Responsibilities include implementing and maintaining security technologies such as SIEM, intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS), Web Application Firewalls (WAF), and other security tools, along with configuring and monitoring these systems to detect and respond to threats. The position also covers conducting regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify 1 security weaknesses, participating in security incident response efforts including containment, eradication, and recovery, and analyzing security logs and alerts to address incidents. Additional duties involve performing security assessments, audits, and inspections to identify gaps, assisting with security documentation and procedures, monitoring security systems and logs for suspicious activity, analyzing security data to generate reports identifying trends and patterns, supporting the implementation of security policies, procedures, and standards, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices, providing technical input for employee security awareness programs, and staying current with emerging security threats and technologies to evaluate their potential organizational impact. Requirements include proven experience as an IT Security Engineer or similar role, strong understanding of security technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, WAF, and vulnerability scanning tools, experience with incident response and security investigations, knowledge of security best practices and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST), strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and familiarity with network protocols, operating systems, and cloud environments.
