Gardener & Pool Maintenance Responsibilities and Duties. Daily Tasks: Water all plants, flowers, shrubs, and trees across the entire complex. Check plants for disease, pests, or poor health. Remove dry leaves, branches, and wilted flowers. Maintain cleanliness of the whole complex including pathways, parking areas, entrances, and all landscaped areas. Gather and dispose of leaves, garden waste, and other debris. Check all swimming pools for cleanliness and clear leaves, insects, and debris from the water surface. Weekly Tasks: Carry out a thorough cleaning of all swimming pools covering walls, floors, skimmers, and filter baskets. Inspect and clean pool equipment. Check and maintain pool water chemistry (pH, chlorine, and other necessary parameters). Pull weeds from all landscaped areas. Trim shrubs, hedges, and ornamental plants. Loosen soil around plants as needed. Sweep and clean all common areas throughout the complex. Scheduled / As Needed: Apply fertilizers based on each plant's needs. Treat plants for pests and diseases. Replace dead plants and flowers. Add mulch, decorative bark, or decorative stones where required. Prune and shape trees and shrubs. Plant new flowers and plants when needed. Check the irrigation system and carry out minor repairs when required. Responsibilities: Make sure the entire complex stays clean, well-maintained, and visually appealing at all times. Ensure all plants remain healthy, properly watered, and receive necessary care. Ensure all swimming pools are clean, safe, and ready for use at all times. Independently manage the schedule for watering, fertilizing, pruning, and all other plant care tasks to uphold the highest standards across the complex. Immediately report any dead or damaged plants, irrigation system issues, pool equipment problems, or any other maintenance concerns to management.
