This role focuses on making the developer experience clear, fast, and trustworthy across the dashboard, API reference, sandbox, error states, and logs. You will own product design for the developer dashboard and integration surfaces; design how information is presented in documentation and the API reference with Engineering and content partners; and work on error states, empty states, sandbox experiences, and testing flows. You will conduct discovery with developers and collaborate closely with the Developer Experience PM and Engineering. You will report to the Product Design & UX Director for Customer Lifecycle and work with the Developer Experience PM and Engineering as the design owner for developer-facing surfaces. You will adopt and extend, rather than own, the domain design system, partnering with the senior design-system lead on shared patterns. The role is weighted toward product work from the start. The team works from validated findings rather than assumptions and values direct, candid critique. Candidates need product-design experience demonstrated through work on technical, developer-facing, or data-dense products, and must provide a portfolio. You should be comfortable designing information-dense interfaces, dashboards, tables, and complex states, and working closely with engineers and other technical teams. Experience designing documentation, API references, or developer tools, technical literacy, and fintech experience are strong advantages.
