Responsible for making sure each project follows its timeline, customer specifications, quality standards, and established targets while acting as the point of contact between the client and internal departments through to the production phase. Oversight covers the full project cycle, from kick-off, mold and tooling creation, and trials through to mass production. Duties include building and tracking project timelines, targets, and progress against the approved schedule, as well as coordinating with customers on needs, product specifications, design changes, and project goals. Collaboration with Engineering, Design, Tooling/Mold, Production, Quality, Purchasing, and PPIC is required to keep every stage on schedule and within quality, cost, and customer requirements. Monitoring mold creation, mold modification, and trial rounds T0/T1/T2 until customer sign-off is part of the role. Preparing and controlling project documentation such as timelines, meeting minutes, progress reports, trial reports, and status updates is expected. Identifying obstacles or potential delays and working toward solutions, plus leading or participating in project meetings where each action item has a clear owner and completion target, is included. Supporting new project and new model processes until readiness for the production phase is also required. Minimum D3/S1 education, ideally in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline. Must be fluent in spoken and written English and Mandarin. At least 1–2 years of experience in a Project Management or Project Engineer capacity, specifically within Injection Molding, Plastic Manufacturing, Automotive, or Mold/Tooling industries. Knowledge of the basic plastic injection molding process and mold creation is an added advantage. Familiarity with the new project development flow — from drawing or product development, mold making, trial, and improvement to mass production — is needed. Ability to read 2D/3D technical drawings. Understanding of basic problem-solving and project management principles. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Capability to build project timelines, monitor progress, and produce project reports. Strong communication and coordination skills with both internal teams and customers. Ability to work with targets, deadlines, and multiple projects at the same time. Detail-oriented, responsible, proactive, with solid analytical skills.
