Packaging Development Supervisor Responsibilities include establishing quality standards and printing tolerances with vendors to reduce printing errors and visual defects, developing and standardizing technical packaging specifications for primary, secondary, and tertiary materials, identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing value engineering projects while maintaining packaging quality and functionality, creating a sustainable packaging roadmap that preserves product quality and shelf-life standards, ensuring packaging materials are compatible with high-speed machinery through trials and technical validation, developing packaging development SOPs and enforcing process compliance across Warehouse, Production, and Stores, and collaborating with R&D, Purchasing, and QA teams while enhancing team capabilities through regular technical training. Requirements: Bachelor's degree (S1) in Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, Materials Science/Engineering, Product Design with a packaging focus, or a related scientific field. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Packaging Development or Packaging QA within the Food & Beverage (F&B), FMCG, or large-scale bakery industry. Demonstrated experience leading and executing packaging cost reduction projects with measurable cost savings. Demonstrated experience resolving complex printing defects and establishing standardized packaging specifications from unstructured processes. Demonstrated experience testing and commercializing new packaging materials on high-speed automated packaging lines. Solid understanding of packaging material functional characteristics, including barrier properties, printing processes (Rotogravure, Flexography, Offset), and color management.
