Job Descriptions: Fleet & Voyage Management: Oversee daily dispatch of tugs and barges, loading/discharging operations, route optimization, and coordination with port authorities/Syahbandar for port clearance and SPB approvals. Maintenance & Docking: Carry out preventive maintenance, manage dry-docking repairs through shipyards, and address technical troubleshooting to reduce vessel downtime. Compliance & Safety: Maintain fleet seaworthiness and adherence to BKI rules, Ministry of Transportation regulations, ISM Code, and HSE standards. Cost & Supply Control: Review fuel (bunkering) consumption, oversee OpEx, and coordinate with procurement for spare parts, lube oil, and vessel supplies. Crew & Client Coordination: Collaborate with crewing on proper manning/STCW certifications, serve as primary contact for charterers/clients, and report performance to executive leadership. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Maritime Studies/Engineering or possession of ANT-I/II or ATT-I/II certification. Minimum 5 years of experience in Tug & Barge operations, including at least 3 years in a managerial position. Solid understanding of BKI classification, Syahbandar/port clearance, dry-docking, and vessel maintenance. Experience with bulk cargo barging (coal, nickel, minerals) and transshipment operations. Established connections with port authorities, harbormasters, shipping agents, and shipyards. Practical experience in vessel tracking (AIS), fuel auditing, and marine incident management. Strong leadership and cost-control abilities; basic working English is adequate. Willingness to travel to remote sites/ports and manage 24/7 on-call operational needs.
