Responsibilities cover checking document completeness prior to the customs process; reviewing manifest, HS code of goods, Invoice, Packing List, BL, Certificate of Origin (CoO), Lartas, and related paperwork; handling end-to-end export and import processes in compliance with applicable regulations; preparing and reviewing export-import documents to ensure accuracy and completeness; monitoring the status of goods until ETA; ensuring proper HS Code classification and correct application of Incoterms; coordinating with internal teams and external parties including customs, forwarders, surveyors, and clients for smooth operations; managing and submitting documentation through INSW, CEISA, and other customs systems; monitoring regulatory updates and ensuring company compliance with customs requirements; verifying Bill of Lading before the vessel's departure; identifying potential compliance risks and providing recommendations for mitigation; creating and preparing documents for customs and for the shipping agent; coordinating and building good communication with the trucking team for delivery.
