Flip is seeking an Implementation Manager to report to the Head of Customer Success - Healthcare, based in Marina del Rey, CA or Brooklyn (onsite Monday to Friday). Flip operates in three fast-growing B2B AI categories—coding, legal, and customer support—focusing on the latter. The company serves hundreds of loyal clients including Under Armour, Tory Burch, and large healthcare institutions. The market is splitting between generic tooling providers building custom agents and industry-specific solutions competing on fast ROI; Flip positions itself as the latter. Retail and healthcare each represent $5B+ total addressable markets. The company was built on the idea that the best path to growth is having a reference list as long as your customer list. Flip employs 100+ people with offices in NYC, LA, and the UK. Responsibilities include partnering with Customer Success, Product, Engineering, and customers to ensure technically sound implementations that launch successfully and sustain performance after go-live. Owning technical implementations involves leading onboarding from post-sale through production launch, configuring integrations, workflows, call routing, IVRs, telephony, and healthcare technology platforms, translating customer requirements into scalable solutions, managing implementation testing and QA, and overseeing technical handoffs between Sales and Customer Success. Building documentation, implementation guides, and reusable playbooks is also required. The role also involves serving as the primary technical resource for post-launch issues and escalations, troubleshooting integrations, routing logic, and configuration challenges, collaborating with Engineering on complex issues by providing technical context, identifying recurring patterns to drive product improvements, and maintaining an internal knowledge base. As product expertise develops, the candidate may occasionally support late-stage sales conversations by explaining integration architecture and implementation approaches. Requirements include 3–7+ years in Technical Implementation, Solutions Engineering, Technical Support, or a similar customer-facing technical role; hands-on experience with integrations, APIs, webhooks, data mappings, or enterprise software implementations; experience owning projects from technical discovery through production launch; strong troubleshooting skills; excellent written documentation and communication skills; and a preference for building scalable processes over simply following them. Preferred but not required: experience with healthcare technology platforms (Athena, eClinicalWorks, Experity, Solv, Clockwise, or similar) and/or telephony or CCaaS platforms (Five9, Genesys, Talkdesk, NICE, VoIP). Final compensation may vary based on location, experience, and qualifications; the role is also eligible for bonus and/or commission as well as equity, subject to company policy and board approval.
