An Indonesian mining firm involved in copper and gold mining operations with a long-term anticipated mine life supported by processing stockpiles. The company is seeking experienced and motivated professionals to join the Mining Fixed Processing Plant/Mineral Processing expansion project in the following role: PROCESS MAINTENANCE – MECHANICAL Positions available across Superintendent, Coordinator, Engineer, Supervisor, and Trade Mechanic levels covering areas such as Flotation, Utility, Filter Plant, Grinding/Milling, Conveyor, Crushing, CCD, Swiss, Desalination, Mill, Overland Conveyor (OLC), Pebble, Pumps, Regrind Cleaner, Rougher Scavenger, Screen, and General maintenance functions. Educational requirements: Superintendent/Coordinator/Engineer – Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering; Supervisor – Diploma in Mechanical Engineering; Trade Mechanic – Senior High School/Vocational School (Mechanical Engineering or equivalent). Experience requirements: Superintendent – 10–12 years in mechanical maintenance/engineering including 5 years senior supervisory/leadership or 3 years as Superintendent/Section Head. Engineer – 8 years in mechanical maintenance/engineering with at least 5 years in relevant engineering roles matching the applied stream. Coordinator – Minimum 8–10 years in mechanical maintenance/engineering including 5 years supervisory role or at least 2 years in a similar Senior Supervisor/Coordinator role. Supervisor – Minimum 8 years in mechanical maintenance including 3-5 years in a relevant supervisory role. Trade Mechanic – Minimum 4 years in mechanical maintenance. Candidates must have experience in large Process Fixed Plant/Mineral Processing/Mining/Heavy Industry environments. Core must-have skills applicable across Superintendent/Coordinator/Supervisor/Engineer: strong mechanical maintenance and reliability mindset; effective execution of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance; ability to coordinate and lead daily work execution while prioritizing work orders. Strong troubleshooting capability and RCA/RCFA participation/leadership to reduce recurring failures and enhance reliability. Solid shutdown and major maintenance capabilities covering planning/support, scope readiness, manpower, tools, spares, material availability, and execution control. Strong HSE compliance; effective leadership and coordination with Operations, Engineering, Planning, Procurement, and contractor supervision. Good English communication (written and verbal) with strong reporting and computer literacy. Trade Mechanic must-have skills: hands-on maintenance and repair across plant systems including conveyors/drives, motors, batch plants, pumps, and gearboxes; performing routine PM and diagnosing mechanical issues with measuring/testing instruments. Practical skills covering hand/power tool usage, basic cutting/welding, basic rebuilding and assembly of process equipment, basic pipe layouts, and the ability to follow written instructions and basic drawings/manuals. Knowledge of mechanical fundamentals including electrical, hydraulics, and pneumatics basics; lubrication functions; pump rebuilds; crusher rebuilds; conveyor alignment and maintenance; grinding mill relines; piping and fitting. Flotation, Utility & Filter Plant scope: strong exposure to flotation circuits and equipment (cells/agitators), thickener systems, slurry pumps, filtration units/filter presses, compressors, and pump and piping systems supporting fixed plant operations. Supervision and execution across flotation zones (Rougher/Scavenger/Cleaner/Regrind) along with associated pumps, piping, valves, gearboxes, and rotating equipment. Exposure to Filter Plant and Port material/concentrate handling systems including pumps, piping, conveyors, and rotating equipment where applicable. Ability to interpret P&IDs and mechanical/technical drawings for maintenance and troubleshooting. Grinding/Milling, Conveyor & Crushing scope: strong exposure to mechanical maintenance of crushing circuits (gyratory/jaw/cone crushers, feeders, screens, conveyors). Strong exposure to grinding/milling equipment and systems including SAG Mill, Ball Mill, drive systems (gearbox/girth gear/pinion/couplings), liners/trommel/discharge, and pebble crushing and handling circuits. Strong exposure to conveyor systems including Overland Conveyor (OLC) components (belts, idlers/rollers/pulleys, take-up systems, cleaners/skirting, drive units) and shutdown activity execution. Familiarity with belt splicing (hot and cold), belt replacement programs, and quality verification per standards/OEM specs (OLC specialization). Exposure to screening systems and vibrating equipment reliability, inspections, and maintenance planning. Specialized Systems (Supervisor scope): CCD, Swiss Tower/Clarifiers & Desalination – thickener drives, pumps, desalination/RO systems; safe execution and reliability improvements. Pumps – slurry/process water/tailings/reclaim/chemical dosing systems; overhaul/alignment/balancing, mechanical seals, vibration/condition checks, and performance monitoring. Pebble – pebble crusher and handling systems, wear part optimization, lubrication improvement, vibration monitoring, and KPI focus (MTBF/MTTR/availability). Good-to-have skills: familiarity with reliability approaches and tools such as RCM, FMEA, maintenance planning and scheduling exposure, and structured continuous improvement programs. Exposure to inspection and condition monitoring practices (e.g., vibration/oil analysis basics, equipment condition checks) and maintenance performance reporting. Experience managing contractors/vendors to ensure safety, quality, and schedule compliance. CMMS proficiency (SAP PM preferred; SAP/Maximo/equivalent) for work orders, reporting, and maintenance records; AutoCAD preferred; Microsoft Office with strong documentation and reporting capability.
