About the role Xendit is seeking a technically minded, client-facing Solutions Engineer to join its regional/global go-to-market team. This role connects enterprise clients with Xendit’s product and engineering teams and works directly with Account Executives and Account Managers to secure the technical win during sales cycles. The Solutions Engineer will understand client requirements, design payment solutions across Xendit’s 7-market licensed infrastructure, and support clients from technical discovery through integration and launch. This is a presales advisory role focused on deal velocity and technical credibility. Minimum qualifications - 3+ years of experience in a client-facing or technical solutioning role, preferably in payments, fintech, or SaaS, such as Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Integration Consultant, or Implementation Engineer. - Proficiency in spoken and written Mandarin is required for technical presentations and presales support involving enterprise clients and stakeholders in Mandarin-speaking markets such as China and Taiwan. - Strong knowledge of APIs, webhooks, and SDKs, including the ability to read code samples and explain technical concepts to engineers without coding every day. - Familiarity with payment flows, acquiring, FX, and/or payouts is highly preferred. - Experience working with regional/global enterprise clients is essential. Responsibilities 1. Technical presales solution design - Work with the regional/global sales team to understand prospect requirements and design tailored payment solutions using Xendit’s full product suite, including acquiring, FX, payouts, and stablecoin remittances. - Lead technical discovery sessions with prospective clients, including CTOs, Heads of Product, and Lead Engineers, to map their infrastructure and determine integration requirements. - Design solutions for complex cross-border flows between regional/global markets and Southeast Asia while supporting compliance and commercial outcomes. - Deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations to technical and non-technical audiences. 2. RFP/RFI support and technical documentation - Lead technical responses to RFPs and RFIs from regional/global enterprise clients. - Prepare solution diagrams, integration guides, and technical proposals that explain Xendit’s value proposition. - Work with legal and compliance teams on technical and regulatory questions during sales cycles. 3. Proof of concept (POC) and integration advisory - Define and manage technical proofs of concept (POCs) for complex enterprise opportunities. - Guide clients through sandbox testing and integration planning to reduce time to go live. - Serve as the technical advisor throughout the sales process and build confidence in Xendit’s platform and capabilities. 4. Voice of the customer to product - Collect and synthesize client feedback, technical requirements, and feature requests for Xendit’s product and engineering teams. - Monitor competitor solutions and regional/global market trends across the SEA payments corridor, providing input for product roadmap decisions. - Contribute to internal knowledge bases, playbooks, and enablement materials for the wider commercial team. 5. Cross-functional collaboration - Work closely with Account Executives on account strategies and upsell/cross-sell opportunities. - Partner with Customer Success and Integration teams to support smooth handoffs and long-term client satisfaction. - Collaborate with global Pre-Sales peers on best practices and scalable solution patterns. - Do whatever is required to help Xendit succeed.
