1. Design and implement strategies to detect risk and fraud in payment transactions. 2. Track transaction activity to spot suspicious patterns, anomalies, and possible fraud. 3. Carry out fraud investigations and recommend suitable mitigation actions. 4. Examine transaction data and risk indicators to enhance fraud detection and prevention. 5. Manage and fine-tune fraud rules, risk parameters, and transaction monitoring systems. 6. Work with Product, Operations, Compliance, Technology, and Business teams on risk-related projects. 7. Produce regular risk and fraud reports, dashboards, and insights for management. 8. Perform root cause analysis and suggest improvements to reduce fraud losses and operational risks. 9. Assist in the development and rollout of risk management policies and procedures. 10. Guide junior analysts and offer support on fraud analysis and investigation tasks. Requirements: 1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related discipline. 2. 3–5+ years of experience in risk management, fraud prevention, transaction monitoring, or the payment industry. 3. Solid knowledge of payment transactions, fraud typologies, and risk management. 4. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail. 5. Skilled in SQL and data analysis tools; familiarity with fraud/risk monitoring systems is a plus. 6. Capable of working independently, prioritizing tasks, and making data-driven decisions. 7. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. 8. Background in payment gateway, fintech, e-commerce, banking, or financial services is highly preferred.
