The client provides IT services to government institutions, multinational corporations, public administrations, research and academic institutes. Job Type: B2B Contract Workplace: Remote (services offered remotely within the EU) For the initial assignment, the selected candidate will join the company's team, working closely alongside a major client's on-site IT team. Requirements include a University Degree and a minimum of 8 years of IT professional experience; at least 3 years of dedicated Scrum Master experience at SM2 level or above; having led at least 2 production teams through complete sprint cycles covering planning, review, retrospective, and refinement; implementing data-driven continuous improvement initiatives such as raising team velocity or reducing lead time; coordinating cross-team work through Scrum-of-Scrums or PI Planning events; strong command of the Scrum Guide and Agile Manifesto principles and values; good understanding of facilitation techniques like Fist of Five, participatory decision-making, and Liberating Structures; good understanding of systems-thinking and process tailoring for complex or evolving environments; good understanding of team motivation and stakeholder engagement techniques such as information radiators and team empowerment models; good understanding of Agile metrics including velocity, cycle time, burn-up/down charts, and cumulative flow diagrams, along with the ability to build and interpret dashboards for team performance and forecasting; proficiency in Azure DevOps (preferred) or Jira, especially for backlog management, dashboards, and workflow configuration; Scrum Master certifications of PSM II (or higher) and SAFe 5/6 Agilist; experience with one or more scaled Agile frameworks (SAFe, Nexus, LeSS, etc.) is an added advantage; knowledge of combining SAFe and Kanban approaches to optimize flow and delivery predictability is an added advantage; excellent English language proficiency. Responsibilities involve organizing and facilitating agile activities and ceremonies such as daily stand-up meetings, sprint reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, and product backlog refinement sessions; ensuring all meetings are positive, productive, stay on topic, and remain within the timebox; collaborating closely with the product owner to manage the backlog; coaching the team and Product Owner on empiricism, value-based backlog slicing, and incremental delivery; tracking and communicating flow metrics (velocity, sprint burndown, iteration burn rate) and guiding the team toward data-driven improvement; championing and facilitating adoption of agile standards, tools, and best practices; proactively identifying and resolving impediments to team progress; promoting empowered, self-organising teams, shared vision, psychological safety, and collaborative decisions such as Fist-of-Five; upholding Definition of Done, quality gates, and compliance with organisational standards; communicating with other SCRUM masters and product owners across the organization to maintain transparency into delivery progress, challenges, and risks; using team feedback and metrics (quality, delivery, cadence, etc.) to identify opportunities and collaborating with the team to continuously improve; supporting the team in utilizing agile planning and development tools like Azure DevOps and Confluence; experimenting with new practices and frameworks to improve team outcomes; actively participating in learning opportunities such as communities of practice or conferences to strengthen skills and better support the team; contributing to the advancement and improvement of agile practices within the organization.
