Pre-Contract Stage (Before Project Starts) — Preparing Cost Estimates: Creating initial cost estimates or Bill of Budget Plan (RAB) based on design concepts and specifications from the project owner. 3. Bill of Quantities (BoQ): Preparing quantity lists or detailed breakdowns of work volumes and materials based on working drawings. 4. Tender and Procurement Process: Assisting in evaluating price submissions from contractors or subcontractors and providing the best recommendations. 5. Contract Preparation: Participating in drafting and negotiating the contents of cooperation contracts between the project owner and service providers. 6. Post-Contract Stage (During and After Project Runs) — Budget Control: Monitoring cost expenditures periodically to ensure they do not exceed the agreed budget. 7. Calculating Work Progress: Measuring field volumes of completed work for payment claim purposes (progress claim). Assessing Additional/Reduced Work: Calculating costs for any design changes or added work that arise mid-project (variation order). 8. Final Account Settlement: Preparing comprehensive final cost calculations upon project completion. Risk & Dispute Management: Assisting in preventing or resolving disputes related to cost claims among involved parties.
