Junior Accounting Consultant role supporting the Finance & Accounting team with maintaining precise financial records, reports, and advisory services for internal stakeholders and/or clients. Suited for early-career accounting professionals seeking to establish a solid base in financial analysis, bookkeeping, tax compliance, and client consultation, collaborating closely with senior consultants to grow technical and professional competencies. Key Responsibilities: Assist with preparing, reviewing, and maintaining accurate financial statements and reports (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow). Contribute to daily bookkeeping duties such as journal entries, reconciliations, and ledger upkeep. Aid in preparing tax documentation and confirming compliance with relevant local tax regulations. Support senior consultants during client meetings, collecting financial data, and compiling supporting analysis. Carry out fundamental financial analysis to aid business decisions (variance analysis, budget tracking, cost analysis). Keep organized and accurate financial documentation and audit trails. Help with internal and external audit processes by preparing requested schedules and documentation. Detect discrepancies or irregularities in financial data and report them to senior team members. Pursue ongoing learning of accounting standards, software tools, and industry best practices. Handle additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 0–2 years of relevant experience (internship experience is a plus). Foundational knowledge of accounting principles (PSAK/IFRS as applicable) and tax regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Accurate, SAP, Xero, or similar) is an advantage. Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy. Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Capacity to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
