A Javascript Developer is needed in Leeds with a salary of £30-45,000, working with React, Node.js, and Typescript, with flexible/remote working and a progression pathway. The role is currently performed fully remotely with long-term flexibility in this regard; however, applicants must be able to travel to Leeds-based offices when required and hold the full right to work in the UK. The ideal candidate should have strong vanilla Javascript development experience along with commercial experience in modern Javascript frameworks such as Node.js and React. The role allows either a front-end or back-end focus, though the client prefers all candidates to be able to work across the full stack, even if heavily weighted in one direction. For those with experience in other ES6 frameworks, this could be an opportunity to transition into React/Node.js development. Server-side technologies include Node.JS/Typescript, Apollo Server, AWS Infrastructure Pipeline Deployments, Docker, Redis, MySQL (Prisma ORM). Client-side technologies include Blueprint.js UI Framework, React.js, Node.JS/Typescript, and Apollo/GraphQL. The employer is described as a market leader in the solutions they provide to clients internationally as well as in the technology they work on, offering perks such as flexibility in working hours and remote working options. They are employee-centric and promote a healthy work/life balance, with willingness to discuss individual flexibility needs on a case by case basis. A high number of applicants are currently applying for this Javascript Developer role.
