Manage stock levels for coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies, handling timely ordering and restocking to avoid shortages. Uphold all food safety and health regulations while keeping the coffee bar and equipment clean and organized. Provide continuous training and development sessions for baristas to enhance skills, including covering new products and seasonal menu updates. Work with the management team on menu planning, contributing new beverages and seasonal specials. Carry out daily opening and closing tasks, manage barista shift schedules, and ensure smooth service during peak hours. Maintain all coffee equipment (espresso machines, grinders, etc.) in clean, working condition and report any issues to management. Requirements: 3-5 years of barista experience minimum, including at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory capacity. Deep knowledge of coffee preparation, brewing methods, and espresso equipment. Strong communication abilities and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service. Proven ability to motivate and manage a team with solid problem-solving and decision-making skills. Physical capability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and operate in a fast-paced setting. Flexible availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed. Preferred qualifications: Barista certifications or specialized training (e.g., Specialty Coffee Association, barista courses). Prior experience with POS systems and cash handling.
