Babo Baca Tulis is hiring a full-time, on-site English and Math teacher for young learners aged 4 - 8. Classes are held face-to-face at their learning centre in Gading Serpong, Tangerang, from Monday to Friday, in small groups of 2 - 3 students. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. The role involves teaching foundational English, phonics, reading, writing, and elementary Mathematics. Native-level English is not required, but teachers must be comfortable using English in the classroom and able to explain basic English and Mathematics lessons clearly. A positive attitude and genuine willingness to work patiently with children matter as much as academic ability. Responsibilities include explaining lessons clearly and patiently to match each child's learning ability, using simple and appropriate English instructions during lessons, creating a cheerful and well-managed classroom environment, building positive relationships with students, studying and preparing assigned teaching materials before each class, checking student worksheets, completing daily student reports, communicating with the coordinator about students' progress, behaviour, and learning needs, participating in training, evaluations, meetings, and learning-centre activities, and consistently following the curriculum, class schedule, teaching procedures, and company SOP. Qualifications: a Bachelor's degree preferred in Education, English Literature, Science, Mathematics, or a related field; ability to teach foundational English, phonics, reading, writing, and elementary Mathematics; comfort communicating and giving classroom instructions in English; a good basic understanding of English and Mathematics; enjoyment of working with young children; a cheerful, friendly, polite, patient, and attentive demeanor; willingness to study and prepare materials before class; openness to feedback and continuous learning; honesty, discipline, responsibility, punctuality, and strong teamwork. Previous experience teaching or working with children is an advantage but not required. This position does not offer remote, hybrid, freelance, or part-time work.
