The restaurant is looking for a Guest Relation Officer (GRO) who is organized, attentive, and confident in handling reservations while maintaining a smooth flow of guests throughout the venue. Key Responsibilities: Oversees and manages reservations arriving through multiple booking channels, ensuring all details are accurately reflected in the reservation system. Processes reservation requests, changes, cancellations, and special requests. Maintains the waitlist during peak periods and communicates estimated waiting times clearly to guests. Coordinates table assignments and seating based on current reservations, restaurant capacity, and operational needs. Tracks guest arrivals, late arrivals, and no-shows to optimize table usage. Works closely with the Host/Hostess, Service Team, and Management to ensure seamless guest flow. Shares important guest information, special occasions, and requests with the appropriate team members. Greets and assists guests professionally and helps with reservation-related inquiries. Spots potential reservation or operational problems and escalates them when needed. Helps the team deliver a positive and smooth guest experience, particularly during peak hours. Job Requirements: Minimum 1 year of experience in Guest Relations, Host/Hostess, Restaurant Reservation, Front Office, or a comparable hospitality role. Solid understanding of restaurant operations, table management, and guest flow. Experience with reservation systems or booking platforms is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Good command of English, both spoken and written. Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Friendly, confident, presentable, and service-oriented. Works well with different teams and stays calm during busy periods.
