The Global Head of Communications will lead Xendit’s reputation and communications strategy with customers, partners, regulators, employees, media, and the wider technology ecosystem. This is a strategic leadership role rather than a traditional public relations position. The role will define and develop the company’s narrative as it grows across Southeast Asia and beyond, explain complex technology and financial products clearly, maintain consistent messaging across markets and channels, and position Xendit as a trusted provider of financial infrastructure and digital payments. Responsibilities include developing proactive reputation strategies; anticipating communications risks; leading crisis communications and issue management; and establishing communications frameworks for periods of growth and change. The role will advise senior leaders and develop speeches, thought leadership, customer presentations, executive messaging, media interviews, internal communications, and company-wide updates. It will also build relationships with business, financial, and technology media across Asia and globally, and support visibility through industry commentary, customer stories, research, executive profiles, and speaking opportunities. Internally, the role will lead communications about company priorities, performance, products, organizational changes, leadership messages, values, and culture, helping employees connect their work to Xendit’s mission and long-term vision. It will support engagement with customers, partners, regulators, government agencies, industry associations, and community organizations. In partnership with People and Talent Acquisition, it will communicate Xendit’s mission, people, culture, leadership, career opportunities, and employee stories to prospective talent. Success will mean building a communications function that scales with the business, establishing a distinct corporate narrative, strengthening executive communications, improving the quality and impact of earned media and employee engagement, developing crisis communications capabilities, and strengthening Xendit’s reputation among key stakeholders. Candidates need 12–15+ years of experience leading corporate communications, public affairs, executive communications, or reputation management. They should have built communications programs in high-growth technology, fintech, financial services, or enterprise software organizations; advised senior executives; managed complex, high-profile, or sensitive situations; and worked across multiple countries, cultures, and stakeholder groups. The role requires strong writing, storytelling, editorial judgment, business acumen, and knowledge of media and communications across Asia. Experience in fintech, payments, banking, SaaS, or digital infrastructure; relationships with leading business, technology, and financial media; and experience building and scaling communications teams are preferred.
