About the Job As a Financial Operations Associate, you will join the Financial Operations team, which ensures the seamless movement of funds for the many transactions processed daily on the Xendit platform. You will be part of a new FinOps subteam responsible for reconciliations across the entire organisation, helping ensure that funds move as expected and that all movements are fully visible across the region. The role suits a problem solver with exceptional attention to detail who is comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment, learning continuously, and investigating technical root causes. Accuracy under pressure, reliability, collaboration, and an interest in the dynamic nature of operations are important. Challenging the status quo is valued. Minimum Qualifications Graduate of Management, Accounting, Finance, or a similar course, with 1-3 years of relevant experience in a start-up or fast-paced environment, or in payments, fintech, or financial services Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Detail-oriented, with the ability to identify patterns in data or information and notice when something is amiss Preferred Qualifications Experience working with or dealing with banks or large financial institutions, particularly in finance, payments, and reconciliations Initiative to ask questions continuously and seek answers Ability to prioritize workload against tight deadlines and work effectively under pressure Strong teamwork and communication with internal and external stakeholders A strong ownership mentality and a demonstrated ability to work independently toward a goal Ability to learn new skills quickly through self-exploration and relationship building Creative and pragmatic problem-solving from a customer perspective Enjoyment of learning and a continuous desire to improve Working experience with reconciliation tools and SQL Responsibilities Own and execute reconciliations for Xendit’s daily financial operations Own the reconciliation process for all Xendit products across the region, ensuring funds move as expected and Xendit has no exposure or incorrect transactions Work with product teams to automate reconciliations across products and the region, closing process gaps and protecting Xendit against money loss Learn how Xendit operates from the ground up and make a meaningful impact on the organisation’s future Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders Resolve unreconciled transactions by working with product, partnerships, and finance teams to identify and address root causes Set up reconciliations for new products As new products launch and Xendit expands into new markets, establish and own reconciliation processes so that Xendit’s reconciliations consistently operate at best-in-class standards Do whatever it takes to help Xendit succeed
