Environmental and sustainability intern position at Sidoarjo Plant for active S1 students in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field, preferably in semesters 5 to 8. The role involves managing E&S data, maintaining accurate records, and preparing compliance reports; developing and implementing strategies to improve waste segregation across the site; reviewing, mapping, and optimizing the end-to-end waste management workflow for better efficiency and compliance; assisting with research and evaluation of feasibility for new recycling and waste reduction initiatives; supporting routine environmental monitoring activities to track sustainability project outcomes; and conducting on-site visits to monitor implementation of environmental and sustainability projects. Applicants should have a basic understanding of hazardous (B3) and non-hazardous (Non-B3) waste management, wastewater treatment, and environmental management systems (ISO 14001 certification is a plus), along with strong analytical skills and proficiency in data tools such as Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or data visualization software. A solid grasp of waste management principles and the 3Rs (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) is required. Candidates must be passionate about sustainability and waste management with a proactive approach to on-site evaluations, possess strong communication skills, be willing to follow all program regulations, commit fully to a 6-month internship period, and be willing to be placed at Sidoarjo Plant.
