The position involves diagnosing and isolating malfunctions down to the component level using schematics and troubleshooting guides. Tasks also include set-up, calibration, analysis, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, and electronic assemblies. Required tools include DVM, signal generator, multimeter, frequency counter, oscilloscope, DC power supply, solder workstation, and power screw driver, along with test equipment and PC workstation. Coordination with various departments is expected to achieve shared goals and objectives, while ensuring all products meet quality standards, product specifications, and are delivered within the given timeline.
