Key responsibilities include conducting site visits and physical inspections to evaluate property condition, location, and marketability; analyzing market data, comparable sales, and industry trends to establish fair market value; preparing thorough appraisal reports in line with internal standards and regulatory requirements; ensuring accuracy and completeness of valuation documentation and supporting data; reviewing and validating appraisal reports from third-party appraisers where applicable; tracking collateral value trends and offering insights on potential risks; ensuring adherence to applicable regulations, policies, and valuation standards; and supporting audit processes by supplying necessary documentation and clarification. Applicants should meet the following requirements: minimum 25 years of experience in property appraisal, valuation, or related roles within banking or financial institutions; a Certified Appraiser credential (such as MAPPI certification or equivalent) is highly preferred; strong knowledge of property valuation methods (market approach, cost approach, income approach); solid analytical and valuation skills with attention to detail; the ability to interpret legal property-related documents (land certificates, permits, ownership documents); good understanding of property market trends and economic factors that influence valuation; familiarity with banking credit processes and collateral requirements; strong report writing and documentation skills; and proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and appraisal tools/software.
